From 28th-30th April 2022, four of our club swimmers: Belinda, Julia, Annie and Suzie ventured across to Western Australia to compete in the Australian Master Games. There were a range of different races from 50 metres through to the 400 metres.

Our swimmers made our club extremely proud. Each swimmer put in more than 100% in each of their events and achieved personal best times- with plenty of gold, silver and bronze medals to bring back home.

With having four swimmers we were able to enter some relay swims and this was great. The announcer at the games did mention "Campbelltown" quite a bit and how busy some of our swimmers were.

Belinda and Suzie both got stopped at the security gate with their bags..." they thought we had machines in our bags with the medals going through the xray machine"..but this just made the adventure home more fun. The price you pay for a huge medal haul.
