In August, over a 2 week period, we saw 5 of our club members head over to the World Aquatics Master Championships in Singapore.  Our members were: Kelly, Nicole, Annie, Bronte and Suzie.

In case you missed any results of the results on social media, here they are again:

Kelly:

Swam 5 individual swims, 5 PBs and  5 Top 10 placings!

• 400IM – 2nd! breaking the NSW State record
• 200IM – 3rd! breaking the NSW State and Australian Record 
• 100BK- 4th- breaking the NSW State and Australian Record
• 200BK – 4th- breaking the NSW State record 
• 100 Free- 8th- breaking the NSW State record

Nicole:

Swam 4 individual swims (unfortunately having to withdraw from 1 :(, but swimming  4 PBs in her 4 swims.

• 50Bk – 17th
• 50Fly – 27th
• 100 Free – 29th
• 50 Free – 31st

Annie:

Swam 5 individual swims with 5 PB’s and 5 Top 10 placings!

• 50 Fly – 5th
• 200 BK- 6th
• 100BK – 7th
• 50 BK – 6th
• 50 Free- 9th

Suzie:

Swam 5 individual swims with 2 PBs swims!

• 400IM – 17th
• 400 Free -22nd
• 800 Free – 22nd
• 200IM – 30th
• 200 Free- 37th

Bronte:

Swam 3 individual swims with 3 PB swims!

• 100BK 37th
• 50BK 41st
• 50 Free – 70th

Our relay team consisting of Kelly, Nicole, Bronte and Suzie finished 12th in the 4 x 50 Free relay and 13th in the 4 x 50 IM Relay.

We are so proud of what you all accomplished in Singapore and appreciate the hard work you put in to be ready for the championships.
