Mingara Pelicans BPS
Some of the team headed up to Woy Woy on the Central Coast on Saturday 17th May 2025 for the Mingara Pelicans BPS meet!
We had some great results from our 5 swimmers, Kelly, Bel, Bronte, Owen and Grant, with PB’s across the board.
As a team they finished 15th overall and 2nd on average points (by only 0.25) of a point and with only 5 swimmers. Incredible results.
Outstanding results by all our swimmers and in particular Kelly who broke 3 records. 2 State records and 1 National record:
– W30-34 State record – 25m Fly
– W30-34 State record – 100m Back
– W30-34 State AND National records – 200m IM
Congratulations Kelly!
Kelly was also awarded female BPS Meet Champion for swimming closest to her nominated time in the 25m Freestyle.
Well done Kelly!
Huge congratulations also to Grant for swimming a sub 1 minute for the 100 Freestyle!
There were also lots of new PBs set by our members, which is fantastic to see.
