Campbelltown Masters on the World Stage in Gwangju Korea 2019
Our club has been all a buzz the the last couple of weeks, having 3 members representing Campbelltown Masters on the world stage at the 18th FINA World Masters Championships in Gwangju (Korea).
Annie Cooke
As you can see from the photo, Annie wasted no time in collecting a medal. All up she took home 5 medals, from 5 events. Unbelievable! Congratulations Annie!

Lindsay Risk
Lindsay competed in 5 events including 800m Freestyle, 100m Freestyle, 50m Freestyle, 100m Backstroke, 400m Freestyle. Placing 20th in the 50m Freestyle.
For Lindsay he provided his own cheer squad the trip being a family affair with his 3 daughters along for the ride. They didn't go unnoticed in the crowd.

Suzie Haddad
Suzie competed in 2 pool events and 1 open water event, including 800m Freestyle, 100 Freestyle and the 3km open water swim. She placed 13th in the 800m Freestyle and 15th in the 3km Open Water swim.
All round it was an amazing effort by everyone, just to meet the FINA qualifing times for an event to be elligible to attend is a feat of it's own.
