Over the weekend many club members participated in the long anticipated return to State Masters competition, with the 2 day MSNSW State Long Course carnival.

For a small club we certainly won lots of points.

As a club we finished 6th overall on 745 points.

On Average points we finished 9th with an average of 41.39 points per swimmer.

As a club we finished 2ND…yes 2nd!!! in the Executive Award. This Award is based on the club with the highest percentage of members competing (minimum of 10 swimmers competing).

On an individiual level, sSpecial mention to:

• Kelly – finished equal 1st in the 25-29 Age Group
• Julia – finished 1st in the 45-409 Age Group
• Heather – finished 1st in the 65-69 Age Group
• Brian – finished 3rd in the 80- 84 Age Group
• Nicole – finished 3rd in the 30-34 Age Group

Both Owen and Belinda – finished 4th in their respective age groups

Men:

• Cristan 6th in the 30-34 age group
• Victor 11th in the 60-64 age group
• Kim 7th in the 65-69 age group
• Jim W 11th in the 65-69 age group
• Russell 6th in the 70 -74 age group
• Greg 14th in the 70 – 74 age group

Women:

• Suzie 7th in the 35-39 age group
• Laura 8th in the 40-44 age group
• Sharon equal 9th in the 40-44 age group
• Jo 14th in the 40-44 age group
• Jenni 12th in the 55-59 age group

Everyone was so supportive and encouraging of each other on their swims and celebrating the PBs, medals and good fun we all had.
