Back to the Future 3 at Knox
It finally happened, the first post COVID carnival. It may have been called Back to the Future 3, but that is only because the first 2 were cancelled. Campbelltown presented with a big team of 11 participants. Well done to everyone for a great fun, friendly and COVID safe meet.
All members came away with huge smiles on their faces which promotes the motto of Masters Swimming which is fun, friendship and fitness. It was great to be able to catch up with members from other clubs and be able to “race” against them.
We had two fantastic relay teams which we named Team A and Team B. This was a race not to be missed and probably one of the highlights of the afternoon. The win coming marginally to Team B with the final touch on the wall.
Congratulations to everyone that came away with a new personal best and congratulations to those that attended their first carnival for the club – Cristan, Joanne and Haley. Superstar effort!
