It’s been a long time between dips
It’s been a long time between swims, but today some members finally managed to meet up at pools within their respective LGA’s for a COVID safe dip. Some even managed to follow up with a much deserved coffee afterwards.
Without a doubt there will be some sore bodies tomorrow. Temperatures at pools in Camden, Campbelltown and Liverpool ranged in temperature from a balmy 27 degrees to a still swimmable 21 degrees.
It was inviting weather and everyone enjoyed finally seeing others and getting wet. Some found it much more difficult to get moving again than others. We must all remember that we are all different and we must take our time getting back into it. Listen to your body. And don’t expect too much to begin with.
Hopefully we will be able to meet again as a club soon. But in the meantime enjoy your local pool and get together with members in your LGA.
