MSNSW State Relay Meet 2026
On Sunday (09/08/2026), 15 of our club members attended the MSNSW State Relays, where we competed in 16 different relay events as a team.
We finished 11th out of 26 clubs competing, which was a fantastic result!
Collectively, our team achieved:
🏅 2 Gold Medals
🥈 4 Silver Medals
🥉 3 Bronze Medals
It wasn’t just about the medals, though. Many of our members also achieved personal best times in their swims, which was fantastic to see.
Some of the PB highlights included:
- Donna – 50 Free & 100 BRS
- Alana – 100 Back
- Jim – 50 Free & 100 Free
- Derek – 50 Breast
- Andrew – 50 Free
- Joel – 50 Free
- Cristan – 50 Free & 50 Breast
- Lexie – 50 Free
- Daryl – 50 Free
- Suzie – 50 Free & 100 Fly
We also had a lovely opportunity to celebrate Micah and Jim’s birthdays with cupcakes and lollies, which added to the fun atmosphere of the day. 🎂🧁
Huge thank you to Heather and Owen for being officials on the day. Big day officiating at a meet like this and the continuous movement.
Finally, a huge thank you to Jim for putting all the relay teams together and being so adaptable when we had some last-minute withdrawals. Your ability to make changes on the day meant that all our members were still able to participate, swim and, most importantly, have fun!
It was a fantastic day for the club, and I’m really proud of everyone who represented us. 💙
