Wow the medals just keep coming
Excellent results for our club at the State Masters Swim Championships at Olympic Park Homebush on the 27th and 28th April 2019.
Rod Young won a silver and 2 bronze medals
Owen Sinden won a gold, 3 silver and a bronze medal
Annie Cooke won a gold and two silver medals
Kyle O’Brien won a gold and 2 silver medals
Paige Tomkins won 3 gold and 3 silver medals
Heather Rouen won 3 gold, a silver and 2 bronze medals
Russell McLeod won a gold and two bronze medals
Kim Beazley won 2 gold, 1 silver and a bronze medal
Lindsay Risk won 2 silver and 2 bronze medals
Suzie Haddad won a gold, a silver and 2 bronze medals
Sharon Carpenter won a bronze medal
And Victor Libdy and Jenni Goodhew achieved lifetime PB’s
42 medals in total!!!! WOW!!
OUTSTANDING RESULTS ALL ROUND.
We are particularly proud to the new members of our club, who participated, with special mention to Jenni Goodhew who only 3 months ago couldn’t swim the full length of a 50m pool and competed in the 100m freestyle & 100m breaststroke plus a relay.
To sum the carnival up it was a great success with great results, camaraderie and lots of laughter.
