On Saturday 15th March, 4 of our members – Kelly, Belinda, Owen and Suzie headed up the F3 highway to attend the Cessnock meet.

Congratulations to Kelly who broke the 30 -34, 1500m Backstroke state record. Kelly swam a time of 22:46.71, which broke the record by over 1 minute.

As a team we finished 10th and 4th on average points (not too bad with only 4 swimmers and no relay).

Individual age group placings were:
Owen – 1st
Kelly – equal 1st
Belinda – 1st
Suzie – 3rd
