Over the weekend 8 of our members headed down the Hume Highway to Canberra. Our team consisted of: Kelly,Nicole. Michael, Victor, Joanna, Belinda, Grant R and Suzie. 

While in Canberra they raced at the AIS at the Masters NSW State SC Championships. 

Fantastic swimming by our team saw many medals won. 

We finished 8th overall and 4th on the average points. 

A special mention for Kelly for finishing Top 3 overall in the Women’s Swimmer of the Meet. So impressive Kelly!

We entered three relay teams and each team finished 2nd in close races.

The relay teams were: 

• 120+ Women’s Freestyle – Kelly, Belinda, Suzie and Nicole
• 120+ Mixed Freestyle – Kelly, Suzie, Michael and Grant
• 120+ Women’s IM Relay- Kelly, Belinda, Nicole and Joanna

Individual results:

• Victor – Silver in the 100 FLY, the 200 IM and 50 FLY
• Michael – Gold in the 100BK, Silver in the 200Free and Bronze in the 50 Free
• Grant- Gold in the 50 Free, FLY, BK, 100 Free, Silver in the 200 Free
• Kelly – Gold in the 50 Free, 100Free, 100 IM, 200 IM, Silver in the 100 BK
• Nicole – Silver in the 50Brs, Bronze in the 50BK
• Belinda –  Gold in the 50Brs, 100 IM, 200 Free, 200 IM, 200 FLY
• Joanna – Gold in the 200 FLY, Silver in the 100 BK, Bronze in the 200 Free
• Suzie – Gold in the 100Brs, 200 Brs, Silver in the 100 Free, 200 IM and Bronze in the 200 Free.

Super proud of the team spirit we all showed and supported one another.

We may be a small club but it is definitely our swimming family.
